Don’t Blame Yourself

Yes you were the lady who

Gave all her loving to me

And when somebody new came and stole you  away

Can you see, how that might be too much to lose

I know how love makes us choose

Remember that evening when

I interrupted your scene,

And I saw in your actions

Much more than you thought they should mean,

There was something you needed to say

Something I found out the hard way

Don't blame your self at all

Don't blame yourself at all

You really broke my heart,

That kind of strain was bound to tear it apart.

You are one of the chosen few

You hurt me badly but I forgive you

I never would have found the one

Oh I might have never have found true love.

I know now that it was over.

Back then I was a real sore loser

But now we're both  happy

Don't blame your self

No don't blame your self

Don't blame your self

Don't blame yourself at all

Oh lady No No No

I got a shock to my system

Massive contusion

Wide spread trauma in my  cardiac region

I opened the door to my future  and what did I see?

It was a dire prediction, that heartbreak was waiting for me

Yes you hesitated to say

And so I found out the hard way

Don't blame yourself at all.
